This 5G module is designed for today's and upcoming 5G networks in Europe, the Americas and other regions. The module supports both the mixed-mode combination of LTE+5G networks (also called “5G Non-Standalone”) being in deployment today, and also using “pure” 5G (also called “5G Standalone”) which is to be rolled out in various countries.

We anticipated that the Gigabond 700 series will be used a wide variety of applications, and therefore with vastly different requirements in regards of power supply and consumption.

For the 700 series we have invested heavily in designing a sophisticated energy management from the start. Many hardware components in the system are able to scale between performance and energy consumption. If installed in places with good airflow and ambient temperatures, the maximum bonding capacity can be configured to 2 Gbit/s.
