Whenever a user clicks on a YouTube video embedded on the Website, the user’s data submitted to Google by using cookies of the advertizing network DoubleClick. Said cookies are written and read with each page load of a DoubleClick-utilizing website, each click and every other activity leading to the call on a DoubleClick server, and they contain so-called identifiers (IDs) with which the user can be provided customized advertizements by third parties or advertizing networks respectively. On the Website, there is so-called “Premium Content” – currently mostly whitepapers – for download. If users wants to download Premium Content they have to indicate Viprinet their name, email address, organization and telephone number, whereupon Viprinet grants access to the requested document. In order to identify the users in case of following downloads without having to ask users to re-enter their data, the indicated email address is furthermore stored in a cookie. The indicated data is stored in order to identify the user in case of questions, remarks or requests for call-back.

For technical purposes, Viprinet stores server logs for 31 (thirty-one) days after creation.
