The Multichannel VPN Router 500 makes high bandwidths and reliable data connection available for ultra-mobile usage scenarios: Four integrated UMTS/HSPA+/EDGE modems (in project business also available with other assembly, e.g. CDMA or LTE) guarantee optimal utilization of all available cellular mobile bandwidths.

The strengths of this product lie in its low power consumption and its robustness. The Multichannel VPN Router 500 only needs max. 15 Watt when operated under full load and features a resistant chassis without any movable parts. Contrary to other routers, it is thus able to easily withstand vibrations and working temperatures of -10 to 45 °C. In four screwable card holders, SIM cards of different cellular phone network providers can be used even crossborder. If needed, the SIM cards may also be hot-swapped. Power is provided via an external AC adapter (IEC plug 100-240V, 50-60Hz). The integrated WLAN access point with 2,4 or 5 GHz (Dual Band) provides all the available bandwidth for any number of users.

The Multichannel VPN Router 500 makes tricky tasks like e.g. the connection of variable locations, real-time video transmission through units not exceeding the size of a backpack as alternative to big broadcasting vans, or the highly available and encrypted linkage of emergency vehicles with sovereign duties like police cars, fire trucks, military and ambulance vehicles a snap. With this device, the supply of devices outside the service areas of grid-bound Internet connections with fast and reliable data linkage can be realized as well without difficulty.
